CELPIP Responding to Survey Questions Ban Public Smoking – Model Answer 1
Undoubtedly, both options have their own merits to consider. I can understand why many of my neighbors have opted for option B, but I would certainly like to opine in favor of option A, as this seems a far better and convincing one, corroborated through reasons outlines below:-
On the one-set, smoking is injurious to health not only for smokers but also for non-smokers who inhale the smoke due to smoking done by others in public places.
Secondly, it would restrict the chain smokers and make awareness among all, especially youngsters. They found these bad habits appealing when they see smoking done in public places without any hesitation.
And last but not least, old persons, pregnant ladies, and people having medical issues like asthma will feel more comfortable with the strict ban by the Government in public places.
Having understood my point of view, I think everyone will subscribe to my perspective.
Thanks a lot for allowing me to express my opinion.
CELPIP Ban Public Smoking Survey – Model Answer 2
Dear officer,
I would like to choose option A in which smoking should be banned in public areas even though should not be banned in public places. Smoking creates a lot of air pollution due to that it’s affecting health.
The first reason is when any one person is smoking in a public area that time other people are moving from those places like seniors, children, and teenagers.
They are watching the smoker due to that they are also intimate and think we also need to try it. More smoking directly affects the lungs because of the tar.
Secondly, tobaccos and vibes are very dangerous to our bodies. Smoking is the main reason for Lung Cancer and to a great extent, it is responsible for most Heart Disease, and sometimes result in complications during pregnancy.
It does not affect us immediately but gradually it will impact our bodies. Based on the above reason, I believe smokers should not smoke in public areas.
This is my point of view, but still, I will adopt a decision from the government.
