Dear Shop Owner,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my shopping experience at your shop.
Yesterday evening around 6 pm I purchased few essentials at your store. I paid the bill and picked up the items, and came back home. After reaching home, I verified my bill and observed that I was charged $30 extra on the bill. While investigating, I found three items added to my bill that I did not purchase.
I bought three items which are carrot, fresh beans and fuji apples. But I could see cauliflower, cabbage and sweet potatoes added to the bill. Due to this, I have been charged $30 extra.
As I used my prepaid gift card worth $60 while returning home, I tried to purchase a toy for my daughter. Unfortunately, my card got declined, and I could not purchase a gift for my daughter. It created an embarrassing situation at the shop and disappointed my son.
As compensation I would like you to refund the excess amount and issue a discount at your store on my next purchase. You can contact me at phone no 1234567890 for further details. I have enclosed my bill for your reference.

CELPIP Writing Task 1 Email to the Manager of the Grocery Store
Yesterday, I came for grocery shopping in your store. When I checked the bill after reaching home, I found that some items were added to the bill, but I didn’t buy them.
I bought two family packs of bread, two packets of cookies(the small one), one bottle of 1.25 litre coke, half kg onions, and 1 kg potatoes.
But when I rechecked the bill, three packets of noodles and some snacks were also added. I come to your store almost every month, and this sort of thing has never happened before, but I think this was by mistake as there were many people present at the cash counter yesterday and there was only one person who was handling all the billing.
I have some urgent work today so that I will come to the store tomorrow in the evening. I was hoping you could look into the matter and refund the money deducted for something I never got.
