I believe airlines should ban children under the age of five from traveling on their planes. The first reason I think this is because children under the age of five cause the most problems for the rest of the passengers. Very often a baby will be screaming for hours on a long-haul flight. This is extremely frustrating for business passengers who need to get some rest on the flight. If airlines banned babies from their flights, more business travellers would want to fly with their company. This would boost their customer satisfaction. Also, it would boost a company’s revenue because more people would want to travel on their planes. celpipmaterial.com
I read an article recently that said 75% of travellers are single people travelling for business. These people would definitely enjoy a quiet flight without screaming babies! I think five years old is a good cutoff age because kids older than five rarely cause a ruckus. Also, kids this age don’t need to have their diapers changed, so they won’t take up as much bathroom time. It’s frustrating when there is a line for the bathroom and someone is taking a long time changing their baby. One time I was on a flight from Karachi to Istanbul and a mother spent about 35 minutes in the bathroom with her baby. All the passengers were getting really impatient. Then, after she got out of the bathroom, her baby was screaming for like an hour. It was definitely getting on everyone’s nerves!
