In my experience, people overthink questions like this. The question sounds very technical — “specific reasons and details” — but just relax and keep things simple. Don’t be afraid to talk about your personal experience. Maybe you have some stories of why you hate living in a big city. celpip material.com

In my opinion, I think a lot of people move to cities because they think their lives will improve. They might get a higher paying job, be closer to shopping centres, and things like that, but I don’t think most people really consider the big picture. Living in a city actually has a lot of drawbacks. Rush hour, for example, is a nightmare. I used to live in Toronto and getting to work every morning took over an hour. The commute home wasn’t much better. That’s two hours of my day sitting in a car. That’s insane! In a small town, you don’t have to worry about traffic at all! Sure, the pay might not be as good, but is it worth the extra hassle? Not in my opinion! The other nice thing about a small town is that you can build more genuine relationships.celpipmaterial logo People trust each other more in small towns. It’s very common for people to leave their doors unlocked in small towns. I like that kind of laidback vibe. Another downside of being in a city is that the air quality is a lot worse. Most people don’t realize it right away, but it can have a big impact on your long term health. Five years ago I lived in Beijing. I could hardly breathe in that city. I developed some pretty bad respiratory problems while I was there. People living in small towns don’t have to worry about pollution at all! celpipmaterial.com

Anyway, those are some reasons why I’m convinced that city life is not as appealing as people make it out to be.celpipmaterial logo
