To whom it may concern,
I think competition could play an essential role in children’s growth. Although having too much competitiveness can make some kids angrier, competition can give small targets to hit for self-growth.
First, the predominant benefit of being competitive with someone can help grow more interest to know more stuff to make ourselves up. Moreover, someone can enhance confidence by winning; however, it can be a role model for someone else.
Small competition can be work like a small goal due to those, and some kids can learn how to achieve big things by dividing it into a small goal. Furthermore, it could also teach kids to face loss to be able to if they do not learn how to stand again after losing anything, they can not survive in life for longer.
Consider these reasons, I must say competition is significant in a teenager’s life, but this is my perspective. I will support whatever child welfare society would like to do.
Thanks for giving me a chance to put my input on this.
Regards,
Sophia
CELPIP Junk Food in School Survey – Model Answer 2
To whom it may concern.
I think parents should encourage their kids for competition in this competitive era as it is suitable for their future growth and development. There is no denying that hard competition sometimes leads to aggression and disturb the peace of mind.
To embark with, firstly, the spirit of competition drives the passion for something in their mind. If there is competition in any field, it will definitely insist on more work to win the competition. For instance, there is a hockey sports match between the two teams. So if there is any reward for the winning team, it will build the competitive spirit in teams that eventually help learn and grow more.
Moreover, if there is a lack of competition or no competition, no one really thinks to be better or creative. Hence, healthy competition in kids motivates the kids to think out of the shell and sharp their skills which may they already have. For an illustration, nowadays there is hard competition in the universities to get admission in good courses like doctors, engineers. So, kids do great hard work in the school to get admissions that further brighten their future. Thus, competition gives more motivation yo achieve better goals.
To encapsulate, I would like to say thank you for allowing me to express my views, but again it’s my personal perspective, but I will support whatever the decision taken by the welfare society

Maan.
